Mission Early College graduated 23 students from EPCC with their Associate of Arts degree this past May. When these students crossed the stage to accept their diplomas, they made history as the first early college graduates in the El Paso region. To mark this occasion, the Texas High School Project in conjunction with Texas Communities Foundation produced a brief video in which President Barack Obama was invited to the graduation ceremony at the Don Haskins Center. We invite you to view the video and join in the celebration by clicking below: Mr. President: 23 Reasons for Hope
Early College High Schools Through the Early College High School (ECHS) Initiative, the Texas High School Project supports the creation of innovative models for increased high school completion and college enrollment by funding higher education systems that establish Early College High Schools on their campuses or at related sites in high needs areas of the state (Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, Houston, El Paso, and Dallas).
