Our campus Serves over 700 kindergarten through fifth grade students on the east side of El Paso ,TX. Our school was named after a local hero, Benito Martinez. On Veteran's Day we honor and celebrate his memory and especially remember the soldiers who have lost their lives serving our country. We thank all veterans who are retired and those who are still fighting today. We are the Patriots and we believe, "PATRIOT PRIDE COMES FROM INSIDE!" |  | Biography: | BENITO MARTINEZ (1932 ~ 1952). Medal of Honor recipient Benito Martinez was born on April 21, 1932, to Mr. and Mrs. Francisco Martinez in Fort Hancock, Texas. He joined the Army at Fort Hancock and was assigned to Company A, 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division as a Corporal and machine gunner. Martinez was deployed to Korea with that unit.
